Marantz, Superscope Boomboxes
Marantz made high-end and mid-range audio and video products. Marantz was founded in 1953 in Kew Gardens, New York and has it’s headquarters in Kanagawa, Japan. They were sold to Superscope in 1964 and then to Philips in 1980. The boomboxes were made in Japan and can either have a Marantz or Superscope logo.
